Amorphous refractory insulation material Isotap

(RCF regulatory compliance product) Amorphous fireproof insulation material Isotap

Isotap is an amorphous insulation material composed of fire-resistant insulating fibers and fire-resistant aggregates. It is lighter and has higher insulation properties compared to conventional castable plastic refractories, and it is also highly adhesive, making it suitable for use as lining material in various industrial furnaces where the installation of high-temperature insulating wool products is difficult. Isotap F-12A and 14A are products not subject to RCF regulations. They have good workability, can be molded into complex shapes, and are also suitable for applications requiring ball-shaped construction. F-12A and 14A are dry products that, like conventional castables, are mixed with water and cure at room temperature as hydraulic products. They are lighter and have lower thermal conductivity compared to castables. While based on high-temperature insulating wool, they possess high strength. They exhibit no drying shrinkage, and their thermal shrinkage after heating is minimal, providing excellent volume stability. For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

Amorphous refractory insulation material Isotap series

It is an amorphous insulation material made by mixing fire-resistant insulating fibers and fire-resistant aggregates.

Compared to conventional castable refractory materials, it is lightweight, has high thermal insulation properties, is highly adhesive, and is used as a lining material for various industrial furnaces where construction with high-temperature insulation wool products is difficult. 1. It has good workability, can be molded into complex shapes, and is also suitable for applications requiring balling. 2. The dry product is a water-hardening product that is mixed with water and cures at room temperature, similar to conventional castables. The wet product is a thermosetting product that cures through dry heating. 3. It is lighter and has a lower thermal conductivity compared to castables. 4. While based on high-temperature insulation wool, it possesses high strength. 5. It has no drying shrinkage, and the thermal shrinkage after heating is minimal, providing excellent volume stability.
